The penguins at London Zoo are getting a new and improved home in 2011. Penguin Beach recreates a South American beach landscape in the heart of London, with stunning colonies of up to 100 Macaroni and Humboldt penguins. The new exhibit features a larger pool with underwater viewing areas so you can see how our flippered friends fly under the waves. And a large seated demonstration area which turns feeding time into an even bigger spectacle than before.

Come and discover penguin lives with our explainer talks, daily feeding shows and storytelling; and don’t forget to visit the Zoo's research station to find out more about their future and the challenges they face to survive.

On arrival you are free to explore the Zoo for as long as you want and enjoy the many different habitats and animals on display. There are free daily animal demonstrations and feedings and the unique chance to get up close and personal with some of the zoo's residents.

Notes

On purchasing this ticket you will be able to print a voucher valid for Fast Track entry to the London Zoo on the date that you specify when purchasing. This ticket may only be used on the date booked. The Zoo is open every day except Christmas Day from 10am. Child tickets are valid for ages 3-15 years; adult tickets are valid for ages 16 and over. Children under 3 years of age may enter for free. Every penny you spend at ZSL London Zoo goes towards both the care of the animals and The Zoological Society of London's many global conservation projects. These tickets are non refundable and non exchangeable; they also may not be extended.
