Travel back in time and learn the tricks and trade of a blacksmith at Ironbridge

This fun and informal blacksmithing day will equip you a basic set of blacksmithing skills, presided over by an expert blacksmith. Set in the stunning Ironbridge Gorge you'll be transported back in time as you enter the Victorian quarter to receive your training. All the materials you need will be provided as well as a pub lunch and teas and coffees throughout the day. You'll get the chance to take a few choice pieces home as souvenirs - a truly unique experience to remember!

Upon arrival you'll be greeted by the museum's blacksmith who will guide you through your day offering tricks of the trade and expert tuition in blacksmithery. After a hard morning's learning and forging, you'll have a break for lunch where you'll head out into the Victorian village for a delicious pub lunch, before heading back to learn more about blacksmithing. At the end of the day you can take home some unique pieces with you as souvenirs.

Notes

This voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. This experience includes a day's blacksmith training for one person with lunch and tea & coffee throughout the day. You will be provided with protective equipment but please wear stout footwear. This experience is available from Monday - Sunday. All dates are subject to availability.
