When you arrive you will be introduced to your instructors who will guide you around the woods, helping you learn to identify the trees of the ancient woodland in the National Forest, where you'll find out about their characteristics and properties. You’ll then be guided to a base camp where you’ll learn how to use the cutting tools needed to make woodland tools. You’ll be taught how to make tent pegs, pot hangers, mallets and how to carve spoons. At the end of the day you’ll be shown back to your vehicles that will have been parked safely in the woodland car park.

Your voucher is valid until 31st May 2012 for two people. This experience is available on the following dates only - 25th February, 24th March and 12th May. Additional dates may be added subject to demand. Minimum age is 10 years. All dates are subject to availability. This voucher cannot be extended.
