Whether you are a first time sailor who has always wanted to venture onto the open seas or if you just want to brush up your sailings skills this full day sailing experience is perfect.
Your skipper will introduce you to the basics and then you will sail for the rest of the day taking turns behind the wheel with the other participants.
This is a great way to enjoy this wonderful sport, on the safe waters of the Solent.

Mother's Day delivery information 2010

Orders taken up to 3pm Friday 12th March for guaranteed next day delivery will be delivered by 1pm Saturday 13th March. We will despatch items by first class Royal Mail up to 3pm Friday 12th March, but advise you to order by 3pm Tue 9th March if you require your gift in time for Mother's Day.

Your experience begins with coffee and a safety briefing, then your RYA Yachtsmaster skipper will introduce you to the basics of sailing. Then it's hands-on sailing for the rest of the day with everyone taking turns behind the wheel, steering the boat out into the Solent and Southampton Water. After a pub lunch ashore (not included in this voucher) alongside a top Marina, you will be able to carry on improving your sailing skills or just sit back and relax in the well protected cockpit. All refreshments afloat are included. Please dress warmly and casually with extra layers. All safety equipment is provided for you. No previous sailing experience is required and non-swimmers are welcome.
The experience lasts from 10:00am to approximately 05:00pm

Notes

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. You must pre-book this experience. This experience is available selected Wednesdays and Saturdays during the season (1st April - 31st October) and all bookings are subject to availability. This experience is for one person. Sailing may be cancelled or curtailed in severe weather conditions. If in any doubt please call the centre before departing for your experience. There will be a maximum of seven people on board plus the skipper. Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the Marina, but will not be able to join you on board.  Minimum age is 16, maximum weight 20 Stone.
