Initially drivers experience the circuit in a BMW Alpina D3 before advancing to real single-seaters.  The ubiquitous Vauxhall Lotus.  It has an impressive 2 litre engine, race-tuned, in a chassis weighing next-to-nothing and handles like a dream.

  • Welcome, introduction and briefing on circuit techniques
  • Familiarisation laps and 4 driving laps in  BMW Alpina D3 with professional race driver/ARDS Instructor
  • Six laps in a Vauxhall Lotus 2.0 litre single-seater
  • Four laps driving a Caterham Super 7
  • Autotest
  • Individual driving assessment and Motor Racing Deluxe certificate

Notes

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months, you are then free to contact the venue to book a time for your experience. This experience will last 4 – 5 hours and start at 9.00 am, 10.00 am or 11.00 am.  The course takes place on selected Saturdays throughout the year at Mallory Park Racing Circuit, Leicestershire.  Spectators welcome. Drivers shorter than 5’0” or taller than 6’6” and/or weighing more than 16 stone may have some difficulty being accommodated. Participants must be 18 or over and must have a full UK driving licence which they have held for at least a year.
