Learn to play snooker like a pro with this full day of expert tuition

For the serious snooker enthusiast here is a chance to spend a fantastic full day learning the magic touch needed for the masterfully artful and accurate game of snooker - no experience is necessary. Take your cue from a World Snooker professional coach, who will show you how it's meant to be done and have you on your way to becoming a force to be reckoned with on the tables. Also included are two tickets for your choice of a range of selected tournaments.

Arrive at the venue at 10am, where you will be greeted by the World Snooker coach who will be instructing you for the day. You will then have a warm up and practice and receive a briefing on equipment and the theory of the game. At 11:00am, you will have a demonstration on learning basic techniques with individual and group coaching. Practice follows this. You'll break for lunch 12:00 -1:00pm (lunch is provided). Then pose for a photo with the famous World Championship Trophy. Then it's time for further coaching and practice learning new methods and practice routines. At 4pm compete in a competition learning matchplay and there is also the chance to try some trickshots. After a short debriefing and presentation of a certificate of achievement, you will depart at around 6:00pm. The voucher also entitles you to 2 All day tickets for a tournament of your choice. Events available include:

UK Championship - 3-11 December, York Barbican, York
The Masters - 15-22 January, Alexandra Palace, London
Snooker Shoot Out - 27-29 January
Welsh Open - 13-19 February, Wales

Notes

Your voucher is valid for ten months for one person. You are free to contact the supplier to book your date. No previous experience is necessary - the World Snooker Academy can provide you with snooker coaching courses tailored to your requirements. Facilities provide a state-of-the-art training base for both amateur and professional snooker players and include eight Star Aristocrat tables. Much attention has been paid to the quality of tables and playing conditions at the Academy - qualifiers for professional tournaments are played at the Academy so it is vital that playing conditions are of the highest possible standard. All coaches at the Academy are officially recognised coaches of the WPBSA. There is no minimum age, but please inform the Academy of the participant's age upon booking.
