Where better to get your first taste of driving than Silverstone - the home of British racing! You’ll be delighted as you take to Silverstone’s handling pad, where an expert instructor will teach you the basics of driving – including clutch control, braking and navigation. Suitable for anyone over the age of 13, this is the ultimate driving initiation!

Upon arrival you will be welcomed by your qualified advanced driving instructor, who will give you a short briefing. You will then head out to Silverstone’s purpose built tarmac handling area, where you will enjoy your 2 hour session in a Renault Clio 200 Cup. Your session will be on a one instructor per three student basis – each student will have 25 minutes drive time each and will be present in the vehicle throughout the experience. During your session you will master the art of clutch control, gain familiarisation with gears, learn how to pull away and navigate around those all important obstacles. Your driving experience will end with a debrief.

Notes

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. Minimum age is 13, maximum age is 17. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult whilst on site. All dates are subject to availability. Once made, bookings are non exchangeable and non refundable. If your experience is cancelled due to bad weather, it will be rebooked. Minimum height 4'10”. Maximum height 6'3”. Maximum weight 18 stone. Participants do not require a driving licence for this experience. You should wear flat, narrow soled shoes, long sleeved shirt and trousers. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage being caused to the car through their negligence. You will have the choice of buying a collision damage waiver for an additional charge of approximately £10 per car. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
