Enjoy a fun and exciting scuba diving lesson

Introduce yourself to the exciting world of scuba diving with this fun and informative lesson. During your experience you’ll learn all the essentials of this popular sport - including basic safety, mobility techniques and breathing skills - as well as having the chance to get used to the equipment you'll be using. Your two hour tuition session will take place in the safety of a swimming pool under the guidance of a trained PADI instructor, making it a great way to try out this unique aquatic thrill.

Your experience begins with a poolside briefing introducing the basic principles of scuba diving safety and what you can hope to achieve from the lesson. Then its time to get kitted out and into the water, where you can get used to the unusual feeling of weightlessness and how to manage your equipment. Under careful guidance from your instructor, you'll find yourself gaining in confidence as your lesson progresses. You must be able to swim to take part but no previous scuba experience is necessary. All you will need is a swimming costume and towel - all the scuba gear is provided for you.

Notes

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. Dives are available on Saturdays and Sundays only at the Nottinghamshire location. Dives are available on midweek dates only at the Derbyshire location. All participants will be required to sign a medical declaration prior to taking part. The experience is suitable for anyone over the age of 10. Time in the pool is around 90 minutes with a 30 minute poolside briefing. All dates are subject to availability.
